One of our Christmas presents from Grandma + Grandpa was a web cam so Grandma could chat with the girls and see them at the same time. Too bad we didn't have this for Granny + Papa when we lived away! After living with my parents while Ava was young, and during Livi's birth, it's hard to live far away now where they don't get to interact on a daily or even weekly basis. We've only played with this a couple of times, but it's worked out great!! I captured my computer screen below so you can see a bit of the experience:

Great screen shot! I'm actually impressed with how technologically-savvy you and mom are with the web cams! And it so makes me smile to see the little girls on there. So keep me in the loop, k? I want a conference call. And yes, I know you were the neat one - just had to see if anyone was paying attention ;)

How fun! If we had that Reece would be on the computer/phone all the time! Such a neat way to stay in touch.
Oh, I'm so glad I got this new technology - and if it were up to me I would talk to Ava & Livi everynight too! Oh, you to Courtney! and Lisa you give me way too much credit - I just hold my breath and hope it works - then I punch the buttons! It was fun when all 3 of us were talking - maybe we will figure out the voice stuff too! I love to see when Ava is drawing or something and holds it up for me to see. and it's just great to see both Ava and Livi moving around and just messing around - this helps a lot since I don't get to see them in person as often as I did! Love you all!
