You say it's your birthday...

We finished celebrating Livi's 1st birthday last weekend with family + friends. We fired up our friend's bbq pit and smoked some brisket, ribs + chicken...one of Livi's favorite, Texas barbecue that is! It was a big success, everyone else seemed to enjoy it too. Thanks, Zeke, for the awesome meat! I made the cake, as usual, in the shape of the only thing Livi seems attached to...our cat, Cosmo. Oh, and her favorite gift was also a small, stuffed black + white kitty; she hugs and squeezes it, it's so cute. My parents drove in all the way from Indiana too, loaded with toys we left behind in our last move, most notably the sand/water table...a BIG hit with the little people. It was really nice to see everyone; I would've probably taken some more pictures, of everyone, but on the other hand it was nice to sit back and visit. Livi, and Ava, had a great time; thanks again to those who celebrated with us, and thanks for all of the generous gifts. Ava started planning her birthday, in June, the minute Livi's was over. So far we are having a unicorn cake, bounce house with water, a swing set....the list grows everyday!

Why walk...When you can ride!

Thanks Me-you + Grandpa for the new Radio Flyer Walker....pushing it is great, but Livi prefers to sit in it! I have more videos to post later; her walking, big sis pushing her in it, and even Livi pushing Ava, will post those later. I also have lots of good party pictures from the weekend, but I wanted to put this up first to show that we got it in the mail yesterday! Thanks again!!

Afternoon Delight

Some Fridays, after I pick Ava up from school, we get a frozen yogurt. It's such a fun treat for her, and she gets SO excited...almost wants to make me do it everyday. And she's definitely my daughter, she always gets chocolate with chocolate sprinkles. Well sometimes she gets the rainbow sprinkles. This particular afternoon, she woofed it right down and was so delighted to show me & Daddy her empty cup. Where has my baby gone??
