Hello Summer!

Yep, been pretty busy lately; will try to bring blog up-to-date over the next week. We did celebrate Mother's Day, and I have great pics, but had a deadline at work. Anyway, we also had a great Memorial Day weekend, so I wanted to post the pictures of today first. Daddy played golf, but he put the swimming pool up the night before. Ava was so excited to see it in the morning!...it's all she could think about during breakfast and some errands before we all got out there to enjoy it. It was a great day with my girls! We had a picnic lunch and then off to the pool. We finished up the weekend by rearranging the furniture in the house; relaxing...not! More pics to come.

Baby Steps

Water World

Thank you, Teresa (my big sis) + family for the adorable swimsuits, hula skirts + sand buckets you sent us. We got the package yesterday, opened it and the girls wanted to immediately put on the suits & skirts. Since it was about 90 degrees, it was perfect for playing in the water. As always, they had a blast. Such water babies!

Uh, the last picture is Daddy's attempt at embarrassing Mommy....at least we're in the backyard, he's forbidden to walk in front with the boots + shorts. Ava also senses his ridiculous shoe decision, although if she hadn't just outgrown her boots she would probably be requesting them now too.

Flower Girl

Thanks Grandma + Grandpa for the cute dresses for the girls; Ava demanded to wear hers upon opening the package. Love the accessories too!

What happens when it's too quiet....

Jeff + I were cleaning up after dinner when we noticed that Livi got awfully quiet. I stepped out of the kitchen to investigate; I found her in the bathroom unrolling the toilet paper. Apparently nature was calling.




Although her face in the last picture looks as if she's really being productive on the potty, I seriously doubt she has any idea what it's really for. Mostly she just likes to mimic big sis. Too cute!

Mother's Little Helper

She wanted to help mop the floor, said it was "fun". Wish I had her enthusiam about it!

These Boots...

...are made for looking cute! They actually help her balance and stay up; however she really can't walk in them. Big sis is terribly disappointed her "cowgirl" boots don't fit anymore. We'll have to get her some new ones, maybe I'll even try a pair...jury is still out on Mommy's pair though. Maybe if I found the outfit to pull off this look.

Going to the Chapel...

Aunt Lisa's going to get married! The girls' dresses finally arrived last week for Lisa's wedding the end of this month. And they don't need altered...lucky! Still haven't gotten mine, but hopefully Bridezilla is tracking it down. Hee, hee, just kidding, Lis; couldn't help myself! Back to the flower girls, Ava was THRILLED with the dress; wore it until dinner time.
