Daily Log
Just in case you were wondering...I thought I'd share one of my little organization/communication tools for our household, the "daily log". Wow, I didn't realize how much organization was required just to keep track of my little people once I returned to work. I was worried how'd I know what they did all day, what did they eat, when did they poop, how big was it...not that this is what I constantly wonder about with my free time, but things I was used to knowing when I was home. Things I had to know to prepare/adjust for the rest of the day. Then it hit me...make a spreadsheet, of sorts. So, a glimpse into my organization skills (and freakish computer skills). Oh, and I must give credit to Melanie too, my former project manager in her previous life, for teaching me Excel and all of its glory. You should see my timesheet/pay stubs for our nanny.

Our Little Gymnast
Ok, Lis, as requested, here are some clips of Ava at gymnastics this weekend; she's the cutie in black with french braids. And yes, normally I do narrate, however at this class all the parents have to sit behind the glass and it's kind of quiet, so I didn't jabber too much.

T
We're having to discipline Livi a little more lately. It's one thing to grab something of your sister's and taunt her by running away with it, but quite another when you taunt your mother, particularly by climbing onto the kitchen table.

Gymnastics
Ava started gymnastics this weekend! Sorry for the horrible pictures, the parents had to stay behind the glass...Oh, Ava's in the blue, polka-dot short-shorts.

Little sis kept us entertained on the spectator-side of the glass. Silly girl!

Happy 4th of July Weekend!
Among other things this weekend, we went to a local neighborhood parade. So cute, and so fun! The girls had a great time; they saw funny people, cars, lots of people on bikes and got candy + a flag too.

Ava's Song
This is the story of Ava Marie....There once was a girl named Ava, who had head shaped like a potata. Her middle name was Marie, she had chubby little knees. Then along came Livi Mills...
