Daddy Time

Just some typical shots of "Daddy-time" on the weekends! He's like fly-paper with the little girls, and he loves it!

Water Babies!

The girls had their first swim lesson last night...it was so much fun, for all of us! Ava was with the other 3 year olds, by themselves with 2 instructors. But I got to go in with Livi at the same time; it's just perfect to have them in 2 separate classes at the same time. And Daddy got to watch from behind the glass, maybe he'll go in with Livi next week...or maybe not. Anyway, the girls really enjoyed it, although it was pretty intense at times for Ava. Some things frightened her, but she was a trooper; they said she's a very good listener (I know) and unusually comfortable floating on her back! Livi's instructor was also impressed that Livi seemed very comfortable in the water, and we'll have her going under very soon. I said of course, her sister is always dumping water on her head in the bath. Sorry the pictures are rough; Dad had to take them from behind the glass.

We've Been Traveling!

Sorry for the lack of blogs, but we've been busy! We just got home from visiting Grandma + Grandpa in Indiana, but more to come on that soon. First I have some catch up to do!

Sisterly Love

Ava + Little Sis, Liv, are really starting to play together more, or not fight quite so much. I wouldn't really say they "fight" though, the age gap is just really big when they are this little. But Livi really adores her big sis, and Ava tolerates her better every day. Of course Livi still knows how to push her buttons, by taking something and running with it! But like the pictures below, sometimes I find them being really sweet to each other. I have LOTS of good memories playing with my little sis, and I hope my girls have the same memories one day.

PS. Lisa - I'm really sorry about cutting your My Little Pony's hair off!
