Valentine Fun

We spent Valentine's Day (aka Daddy's Birthday) at Granny + Papa's. Thank you Granny + Papa and Cindy + Ronnie for the goodies! The girls loved them:

The girls were also surprised with a new swing set, custom-made, by Papa. Sorry about your wrist, Granny, but thanks for helping with the construction! Oh, there's a picture of Mommy having fun on it too:

Watching some Dora after nap time...and flirting with the camera.

Sweet Treats

The girls and I made cookies for Ava to give her class on Valentine's Day. They loved helping roll the dough and using the cookie cutters.

The Walk to School

Jeff was able to catch the twice-weekly walk to school; that's Gracie walking the girls across the street to the church. We were surprised to see little Livi gets to walk too (verses riding in a stroller), and even hold her sister's lunch bag...she loves to do things like a big girl. Yesterday I took Ava to school (Gracie was sick) and she was so funny, telling every friend, Mommy + teacher, "this is my mommy, she's so pretty!"....my heart just melted. Thank you, sweet Ava.

When Mama's Away....

The Kiddies will play! Here is a glimpse of what the girls do with their nanny, Gracie when Mommy + Daddy are at work (not every day is this grand, most of the times it's just the park):

A Great, Fun Time!

Ava had the best time at a friend's birthday party a couple weeks ago, it was at Pump-It-Up. She has been talking about the big slides ever since, and requests her next birthday party is there....it would be "more fun than the back yard". I had fun too, I had no idea how big the slides are:

Custom-made Tutu

With our tighter budget these days, I decided to make the birthday gift Ava needed for her friend's birthday party....not so sure I actually saved much money in the end. Anyway, I was sewing flowers on right up until the last minute, so no final shot. But here it is under construction.

Girly Girl

Well at least someone can get a bow in Livi's hair.....not me, our nanny. She brings a bow to Gracie and practically demands she puts it in her hair. Very cute, Liv!
