"I can't find Me-you, Mommy!"

We just wanted to say thanks to Grandma + Grandpa for driving all the way to Texas to visit us! We had a wonderful time, and we miss you! Your departure was softened, just a little, by the pretty princess dress you left for Ava. She found it after MDO, and was SO excited - "it looks just like my Belle's dress, Mommy!" Your visit seemed short, but we packed a lot in; thanks again!!

* Wonder why Ava calls her Grandma "Me-you"?? Well I know Courtney does, so I thought I might try to explain. We really don't how she came up with this name, but it happened sometime around 15-18 months. She said something that sounded like "meow" but pointed at my mom....we asked for clarification and she said very clearly, for a toddler, "no, not meow, Me-you". My mom thinks maybe it came from her saying to Ava, "why don't me and you go do....." If you ask Ava what Daddy's name is she says, "Jeff", and Mommy is "Courtney", Grandpa is "Otie" and Grandma??....Me-you. We don't correct her, we just nod yes.
