Bath, England

Our trip to Bath was the morning after my late night out....the train ride (about an hour and a half) was a little rough. This trip was definitely worth it though, very beautiful! Bath is known for of course the Roman baths built there, fed from natural hot springs, but also for the same cream-colored stone used for much of the city....see street scene above.

Plaza near the baths with singers that day. Not sure about the sculptures....sorry, didn't find the plaque to read, head still hurting then.

Our tour of the Roman baths.

View of cathedral from inside the baths.

Some of the original tile mosaic flooring. Although the pictures show the cream stone, it was actually all painted in bright colors when the Romans occupied the area.

The water was warm, I had to feel.

Bought some "wellies", aka rubber boots, while I was there, both a desire and necessity....was going to fall on the wet walk with my flip-flops.

Train tracks in the nearby park we explored.

Some sort of bowling lawn; thought the view beyond was neat.

The bright flowers....didn't matter that it was mostly cloudy with all the bright colors.

Teresa at the train platform before our ride back.
