That is the answer, in case you were wondering, to "Was it any easier to drop Ava off at Mother's Day Out today?"

More crying, more clinging. She did manage to say hello to one teacher between sobs though. Please tell me this will get easier, and one day she will look forward to playing, knowing Mommy will be right back!

My heart hurts for you - I know exactly how it feels! Ava's grandmother's daughter did the same thing!! Guess who that was?? I wish I could say it got easier, but not always, you never did like to go to some of the daycare centers - Lisa was obivious. The "separation anxiety" is tough - you just need to assure her you WILL be back

Thanks Mom! I know I will now have a new struggle, like you did. I will oscillate between feeling guilty for working and feely good for having a career that I can be proud of, and that one day Ava + Livi will be proud of too, I hope. You were, and still are, a good role model. :)

Oh Court - I've been back to work now for 5 months and it hasn't gotten much easier for me. It has, however, gotten easier for Ione and I guess that's what's most important!
