Too Busy to Blog

I've been busy grading for the classes I've been teaching this semester....so too busy to write much or post pictures. But I have been taking pictures!...so I'll put them up tomorrow, when grades are due. And no, Ava's not crawling, or walking, yet, but oddly enough there is something else I'm excited to mention....

She's been sleeping through the night!!! Not the 5 hours that doctors say is technically "sleeping through the night", but a whole 9-10 hours. What!!! I know, it's crazy! This has been going on for about 3-4 nights now; I've been kind of afraid to talk about it too much in case it should jinx me and she starts waking up again.

Anyway, being the problem solver that I am, I started to work the incidents over in my mind as to what might be causing the all-night sleeping fests, and here's what I think it boils down to: First off, breastfeeding and top teeth do NOT work too well for us, so increased the solids (especially at dinner time) and wa-la! No more getting up at night....which is a good thing because Mom, the human pacifier, needs to heal. Anyway, pretty exciting stuff, but like all good things, it probably won't last...Oh well, I do miss our little rendezvous at night.
